Tuesday night, Meghan Trainor participated in a “Jagged Little Chicks” segment on NBC’s “Tonight Show.” Performing alongside Alanis Morissette and Jimmy Fallon, the singer-songwriter clucked her way through Morissette’s 1990s smash “Ironic.”

Friday night, Trainor performs her own song “Better When I’m Dancin'” — and she does so in her conventional singing voice.

Trainor, who has become one of the show’s most frequent visitors, serves as the night’s musical guest. Her performance follows host Jimmy Fallon’s segments with Christoph Waltz and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The episode also includes “Thank You Notes” and a “Wheel of Freestyle” bit.
