Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life” Receives 2x Platinum Certification in the United States

Bon Jovi’s 2000 smash “It’s My Life” has officially been certified under the RIAA’s digital singles program.

The lead “Crush” single formally received a 2x platinum certification on October 13, 2015.

The certification confirms a US unit total of at least 2 million. A unit is equal to a digital sale or 100 streams.

As “It’s My Life” had not been previously certified, the track also retroactively received gold and platinum honors on October 13, 2015.

“It’s My Life” was the third Bon Jovi track to receive a digital singles certification in 2015. “Always” went gold in August, while “Wanted Dead or Alive” reached the 4x platinum threshold in February.
