Red Sun Rising’s “The Otherside” Claims #1 at Active Rock Radio; Disturbed Top 10

Red Sun Rising [Razor and Tie]

After four weeks, the reign of Pop Evil’s “Footsteps” is over. Red Sun Rising’s “The Otherside” seizes the top spot on this week’s Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

Spun 1,835 times during the October 11-17 tracking week (+101), “The Otherside” enjoys a one-position rise to the chart’s apex.

The aforementioned “Footsteps” slips to #2 on this week’s chart; it received 1,818 weekly plays (-236).

Breaking Benjamin’s “Angels Fall” (#3, = | 1,729, +131), Chris Cornell’s “Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart” (#4, +1 | 1,522, +32), and Shinedown’s “Cut The Cord” (#5, -1 | 1,392, -159) complete the Top 5.

This week’s Top 5 is without a new addition. The Top 10, however, plays host to a surging new arrival.

Disturbed’s “The Light” makes its inaugural Top 10 appearance this week. Up eight places, “The Light” grabs #9 on the strength of its 868 weekly plays (+226).
