Ratings: “SNL” Rises For Tracy Morgan, Demi Lovato Episode

The latest edition of “Saturday Night Live,” which featured host Tracy Morgan and musical guest Demi Lovato, enjoyed week-over-week gains in households and adults 18-49.

Per metered market data, Saturday’s “SNL” drew a 4.2 overnight household rating. That bests the 3.9 delivered by last week’s Amy Schumer-The Weeknd episode.

It does not, however, top the 4.5 posted by the Miley Cyrus-hosted season premiere.

According to Nielsen, the Morgan-Lovato episode also drew a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 (Local People Meter) markets. Last week’s episode drew a 1.9 among adults 18-49; the previous week’s season premiere drew the same 2.0.

In addition to the advertised host and musical guest, Saturday’s episode also featured appearances from Alec Baldwin, Larry David, Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer.

Note: Due to a late-running college football game, Saturdays “SNL” aired from approximately 11:45PM-1:15AM.
