Hot 100: “Same Old Love” Becomes Selena Gomez’ 10th Top 40 as a Lead Artist

Up ten places, “Same Old Love” reaches a new peak of #38 on this week’s edition of the Billboard Hot 100.

In doing so, it becomes Selena Gomez’ tenth Top 40 hit as a lead artist.

Gomez previously entered that territory with solo releases “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” (#5 peak), “Come & Get It” (#6 peak), “The Heart Wants What it Wants” (#6 peak) and “Slow Down” (#27) peak. With The Scene, she cracked the Top 40 with “Who Says” (#21 peak), “Love You Like a Love Song” (#22 peak), “Round & Round” (#24 peak), “Naturally” (#29 peak) and “A Year Without Rain” (#35 peak).

Gomez also appeared as a non-lead artist on two other Top 40 hits. Zedd’s “I Want You To Know,” on which she was featured, went as high as #17. As part of Disney’s Friends For Change, she reached #20 with “Send It On.”

The aforementioned “Good For You” is still on the chart; it holds #10 on this week’s listing.
