One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” Enters Pop Radio’s Top 10

Making good on Headline Planet’s projection, One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” officially reaches the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Up one place, “Drag Me Down” grabs #10 on the strength of the ~9,322 plays it received during the October 4-10 tracking week (+384).

“Drag Me Down” is the group’s first Top 10 pop single since “Midnight Memories” single “Story Of My Life.” That song reached #4 on the Mediabase airplay chart.

It follows “Story” and “What Makes You Beautiful” (also a #4 peak) in becoming the third Top 10 pop single of 1D’s career.
