Ratings Update: “Heroes Reborn” Falls By 25%, “Blacklist,” “Player” Also Down

Final Broadcast Ratings: NBC’s “Heroes Reborn” suffered significant losses in week three.

Per final broadcast data, Thursday’s episode drew a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating with 4.412 million viewers. The numbers trail those of last week’s broadcast (1.6, 5.004 million) by 25% in adults 18-49 and 12% in total viewership.

NBC’s Thursday lineup also included “The Blacklist” (1.5 with 7.019 million versus a 1.8 with 7.765 million) and “The Player” (0.9 with 4.427 million versus a 1.0 with 4.578 million).
======================

NBC’s three Thursday night shows all suffered week-over-week losses in the overnight household ratings.

Per metered market data, 8PM drama “Heroes Reborn” posted a 3.0 overnight household rating this week. That number trails the 3.6 posted by the previous week’s episode and the 4.7 posted by the first hour of the September 24 premiere.

Like the previous two episodes, “Heroes” slipped once the football game commenced 8:30PM. It drew a 3.2 overnight household rating from 8-8:30PM and a 2.8 from 8:30-9PM.

“Heroes Reborn” led into NBC’s “The Blacklist,” which drew a 4.8 overnight household rating in the 9PM hour. By far NBC’s strongest Thursday performance in the overnights, the number still trails the 5.3 posted by last week’s season three premiere.

New drama “The Player” closed the night with a loss in the 10PM hour. Episode three of “The Player” posted a 3.1 overnight household rating; last week’s show drew a 3.3.

While “The Player” outdrew “Heroes” in the overnight households, the younger-skewing 8PM drama almost certainly fared better in adults 18-49. Adults 18-49 and viewership data is due by 11:15AM ET.
