While official data for the September 25-October 1 tracking week has not yet been published, enough insight is available to confirm that Drake’s “Hotline Bling” crossed the 500,000 US sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, “Hotline Bling” had sold 462,754 US copies prior to the most recent tracking week. Insofar as it was projected to sell upwards of 100,000 copies during the September 25-October 1 frame — and certainly more than 37,246 — it assuredly crossed 500,000.

“Hotline Bling” has proven to be major hit for Drake. The song, which is selling well, streaming well, and surging at radio, reached #4 on this past week’s edition of the Billboard Hot 100.

In doing so, it tied the peak position achieved by his 2013 smash “Hold On, We’re Going Home.”
