Ed Sheeran Performs “Ain’t No Sunshine” on Colbert’s “Late Show” (Watch)

On Thursday night, Ed Sheeran will perform as part of a Bill Withers tribute show at New York City’s Carnegie Hall.

As a preview, Sheeran performed the classic “Ain’t No Sunshine” on Wednesday’s “Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

With assistance from in-house band Jon Batiste & Stay Human, Sheeran delivered a tastefully restrained, yet undeniably resonant rendition of the song. It simultaneously served as a tribute to the Bill Withers classic and as a testament to Sheeran’s talent.
