The Weeknd’s “The Hills” Retains #1 on Hot 100; Drake’s “Bling” Goes Top 5

Thanks to another week of strong sales (110,000 weekly US sales, #1), radio activity (130 million weekly impressions, #1) and streaming (19.3 million weekly streams, #1), The Weeknd’s “The Hills” earns a second stint atop Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100.

“The Hills” follows fellow “Beauty Behind The Madness” single “Can’t Feel My Face” as The Weeknd’s second song to reach — and spend multiple weeks — at #1.

It is the first, meanwhile, to reign for consecutive weeks. “Can’t Feel My Face” reached #1 on three separate occasions.

Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” holds at #2 on this week’s Hot 100, while the aforementioned “Face” retains its #3 position. Drake’s “Hotline Bling” surges five places to a new peak of #4, while Silento’s “Watch Me” closes out the Top 5 at #5 (-1).

The balance of the top ten:
6) Fetty Wap’s “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” (+1)
7) R. City’s “Locked Away (featuring Adam Levine)” (-1)
8) Selena Gomez’ “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” (-3)
9) OMI’s “Cheerleader” (-1)
10) Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” (+3)
