Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” Crosses the 850K Sales Mark

The brisk sales pace continues for Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches.”

According to Nielsen Music, the hit single drove 74,671 paid US downloads during the September 11-17 tracking week. The tally earns “Stitches” the #9 position on this week’s Billboard Digital Songs chart.

It also brings the song’s cumulative US sales total to 861,422. It is now 2-3 weeks away from crossing the 1 million pure sales mark.

“Stitches” is already certified platinum under the RIAA’s digital singles program. That certification confirms a unit total in excess of 1 million; a unit is equal to 1 sale or 100 streams.
