U2, Shawn Mendes, Maroon 5, Leona Lewis Enter Top 25 at Hot AC Radio

U2’s “Song For Someone” is the highest-charting of four additions to the Top 25 on this week’s Mediabase Hot Adult Contemporary airplay chart.

Spun 1,150 times during the official September 13-19 tracking week (+169), “Song for Someone” rises four places to #22 on this week’s chart.

Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” also joins the Top 25 this week. Up six places, “Stitches” grabs #23 on the strength of its 1,092 weekly plays (+391).

Maroon 5’s “Feelings,” which entered Hot AC’s Top 50 last week, soars into the Top 25 this week. The band’s new “V” single rises twenty two places to #24; it received 938 tracking week spins (+690).

Despite suffering a week-over-week airplay decline, Leona Lewis’ “Thunder” still manages to rise into the Top 25. Up two places, it grabs #25 on the strength of its 856 weekly plays (-19).
