Luke Bryan’s “Strip It Down” Reaches #1 on Hot Country Songs

The second single from Luke Bryan’s smash “Kill The Lights” is officially the hottest song in country music.

Up four places, “Strip It Down” claims #1 on this week’s Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. It seizes the throne from Sam Hunt’s “House Party,” which falls to #4 after six weeks at number one.

In addition to topping the Hot Country Songs listing, “Strip It Down” remains #1 on the Country Digital Songs chart. The single sold another 42,000 copies during the September 11-17 tracking week.

“Strip It Down” meanwhile rises to #4 on Country Streaming Songs and #6 on Country Airplay.

— In addition to “Strip It Down” and “House Party,” the Top 5 of this week’s Hot Country Songs chart also features Keith Urban’s “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” (#2), Chris Janson’s “Buy Me a Boat” (#3), and Brett Eldredge’s “Lose My Mind” (#5).
