Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift Surge Into Pop Radio’s Top 10

Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” and Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” continue to soar at pop radio.

This week, they both enter the Top 10 on Mediabase’s official airplay chart.

Spun ~9,675 times during the September 13-19 tracking week (+2,053), “What Do You Mean” jumps three places to #9 on the chart. Its week-over-week spin gain ranks as pop radio’s second-greatest; only The Weeknd’s #7 “The Hills” (+2,661) enjoyed a bigger lift.

Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” grabs the #10 spot on this week’s chart. Up four places, it received ~9,050 tracking week spins (+1,873).

Its week-over-week spin gain was pop radio’s fourth-greatest during the September 13-19 tracking week.

— Both songs are also on the move at other radio formats. “What Do You Mean?” rises to #18 at rhythmic radio and #30 at hot adult contemporary radio. “Wildest Dreams” improves to #11 at hot adult contemporary radio, #14 at adult contemporary radio and enters the Top 40 at rhythmic radio.
