Ratings: “Under the Dome” Series Finale Stays Flat in A18-49, Adds Viewers

Facing competition from NBC’s mammoth Patriots vs. Steelers coverage, CBS’ “Under the Dome” finale failed to post a week-over-week uptick in the adults 18-49 demographic.

It did, however, enjoy a gain in total viewers.

Per fast national data, the series finale episode drew a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 4.26 million viewers. Last week’s “Dome” scored the same 0.8 but reached a series low audience of only 3.70 million viewers.

“Under the Dome,” which started two years ago as a ratings juggernaut (by summer standards), faded in its second season and then again in the third. CBS opted not to pursue a fourth season.
