Luke Bryan Tops Country Album, Single Sales Charts

Country superstar Luke Bryan was responsible for the genre’s best-selling album and best-selling single during the August 28-September 3 tracking week.

Bryan leads Top Country Albums with his recently released “Kill The Lights.” This week’s stint at #1, which is the album’s fourth straight, comes thanks to what Nielsen Music reports as 37,970 weekly US sales.

He, meanwhile, rises to #1 on Country Digital Songs courtesy “Strip It Down.” The second “Kill The Lights” radio single drove approximately 42,000 paid downloads during the official tracking week.

The song concurrently rises to #5 on the all-encompassing Hot Country Songs chart.

Since launching on August 7, “Kill The Lights” has amassed a cumulative sales total of roughly 496,000. “Strip It Down” boasts a sales total in the neighborhood of 220,000.
