Trey Songz’ “About You” Headed for Top 10 at Rhythmic Radio

Trey Songz [Atlantic]

After coming up narrowly short of the top ten last week, Trey Songz’ “About You” will officially enter that portion of this week’s Mediabase rhythmic radio airplay chart.

The song, which received 2,147 plays during the first five days of the August 30-September 5 tracking period (+11.8%), claims the #9 spot on Mediabase’s building rhythmic airplay chart. It will face no difficulty retaining its Top 10 spot over the final two days of the tracking period.

“About You” will not be the only addition to the weekly Top 10. Meek Mill’s “All Eyes on You (featuring Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj)” and Fetty Wap’s “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” will also contend for an available Top 10 position.

“All Eyes On You” holds the lead on the building chart (2,001 spins vs. 1,940 spins over the tracking week’s first five days), but “679” is gaining airplay at a faster pace.

“About You” was #11 on last week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart. “All Eyes On You” was #13, while “679” was positioned at #15.
