The Weeknd, whose “Can’t Feel My Face” recently enjoyed a five-week stint at #1 on Mediabase’s rhythmic airplay chart, is headed back to the mountaintop.

His “The Hills” is on track to reach #1 on this week’s chart.

According to Mediabase, the song received 2,550 plays during the first three days of the August 30-September 5 tracking week. Up a healthy 23.9% from last week’s total, the count positions “The Hills” at a comfortable #1 on the building airplay chart. Its lead should only grow as the week progresses.

Based on airplay for the aforementioned August 30-September 5 tracking week, Mediabase’s official chart will be published Sunday.

— In addition to “Can’t Feel My Face,” The Weeknd also reached #1 with “Earned It.”
