Sam Hunt’s “House Party” Reaches #1 at Country Radio

Thanks to “House Party,” Sam Hunt is paying a third-straight visit to the top of the country radio airplay chart.

The latest single from his “Montevallo” will this evening be named the #1 song on Mediabase’s country radio singles chart. Hunt previously topped the chart with “Leave the Night On” and “Take Your Time.”

Up one place from last week’s position, “House Party” seizes the throne from Frankie Ballard’s “Young & Crazy.”

That song, which was also the associated artist’s third straight #1, falls to #6 this week.

Not simply the leader in Mediabase chart points, “House Party” also ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s most-played and most-heard song. It received ~8,482 plays (+552) and ~56.404 million audience impressions (+2.587 million).

Dustin Lynch’s “Hell of a Night” (#2), Thomas Rhett’s “Crash and Burn” (#3), Chris Janson’s “Buy Me a Boat” (#4), and Keith Urban’s “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” (#5) complete this week’s top five.
