One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” Hits Top 15 at Pop; Charlie Puth & Meghan Trainor Also Enter

Earlier this week, Headline Planet projected that One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” would claim a Top 15 position on this week’s pop radio airplay chart.

“Drag Me Down” made good on that projection.

Up three places, the new 1D tune earns #14 on this week’s Mediabase pop chart. It received ~6,341 spins during the official August 23-29 tracking week (+685).

Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor)” also enters this week’s Top 15. Spun ~5,322 times during the tracking week (+513), it rises five places to #15 on this week’s pop chart.
