Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Downtown” Starts at #30 on Pop Radio Airplay Chart

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Downtown,” which first emerged on the fifth day of the seven-day Mediabase tracking week, received enough spins to debut at #30 on this week’s pop radio airplay chart.

Powered by hourly iHeartMedia spins on its opening day and solid support on the subsequent two days, “Downtown” received ~1,974 spins within the walls of the August 23-29 tracking week. That earns it the aforementioned #30 position on the chart.

While it does not start as impressively as Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” (which arrives at #27 after only two days), its debut position is still an impressive one.

In addition to the Bieber and Macklemore songs, Alessia Cara’s “Here” (#28, +4) and Disclosure’s “Omen (featuring Sam Smith)” (#29, +2) also reach the Top 30 this week.
