“Bang Bang,” last year’s hit Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj collaboration, is 5x platinum in the United States.

The certification, which confirms a digital US unit total in excess of 5 million, was officially issued on August 17, 2015.

Under the terms the RIAA’s digital unit program, one unit is equal to one paid download or 100 streams.

In reaching the 5X platinum mark, “Bang Bang” extends its lead as Jessie J’s most-certified single. It is the second-most-certified single for both Grande, whose “Problem” carries a 6x platinum certification.

Minaj has greater certifications for her “Super Bass” (8x) and “Starships” (6x).

— On the subject of Minaj, August also brought a certification for her “Only.” The song is now 3X platinum in the United States (3 million digital units).
