George Ezra, Beck, Jamie Lawson Reach Top 60 at Hot AC Radio

George Ezra, whose previous single “Budapest” performed admirably at the hot adult contemporary format, is now beginning to make a run with “Blame It On Me.”

This week, that run produces a Top 60 position.

Spun 137 times during the August 16-22 tracking week (+91), “Blame It” ranks as the Mediabase Hot AC panel’s #53 song. It was ranked at #78 following the previous tracking week.

Beck’s #2-peaking alternative hit “Dreams” also enters Hot AC’s Top 60 this week. It rises sixteen places to #56 on the strength of its 110 weekly spins (+54).

Jamie Lawson’s “Wasn’t Expecting That,” which is the format’s new iHeartRadio “On the Verge” song, enters the Top 60 at #59. The song, which was #106 last week, scored 88 weekly plays (+76).

— While not new to the Top 60, The Rua’s “Fight For What’s Right” (#58, +6) and Maroon 5’s “Feelings” (#60, +7) re-enter this week.
