Echosmith, One Direction, Life of Dillon, Leon Bridges Reach Top 40 at Hot AC

Echosmith’s “Let’s Love” is the highest-charting of four additions to the Top 40 on Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

Spun 358 times during the August 16-22 tracking week (+120), “Let’s Love” rises seven places to #37. Cut from the band’s “Talking Dreams,” “Let’s Love” is the follow-up to the Top 10 Hot AC hit “Bright.”

One Direction’s “Drag Me Down,” which is already a Top 20 entry at pop, enters the Top 40 on this week’s Hot AC chart. Up seven places, it claims #38 on the strength of its 346 weekly plays (+111).

Life of Dillon’s “Dreams” joins the mix at #39. Spun 331 times during the tracking week (+60), it bests last week’s position by four places.

Leon Bridges’ Top 10 Triple A hit “Coming Home” grabs the last available Top 40 spot at Hot AC. Up two places, it earns #40 on the strength of its 330 weekly spins (+48).
