Rachel Platten [Disney]

Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” which last week dethroned Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” to become the #1 song at hot adult contemporary radio, retains that position on this week’s chart.

Thanks to the ~7,173 spins it received during the August 2-8 tracking week(+7), “Fight Song” is once again the #1 song on Mediabase’s Hot AC airplay chart.

“Bad Blood” holds at #2 this week with ~6,634 spins (-134), while Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” jumps two places to #3 on the strength of its ~5,898 weekly plays (+396). Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” (#4, -1 | ~5,765, -221) and Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” (#5, -1 | ~5,521, -462) complete the Top 5.

— OMI’s “Cheerleader,” which rises two places to #8, enjoys the week’s greatest week-over-week airplay gain. Its weekly spin total of ~4,424 bests last week’s mark by 620.

Other top spin gainers include X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” (#16, +2 | ~2,263, +462), Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer” (#14, +1 | ~2,512, +451), The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” (#7, +1 | ~4,609, +407) and the aforementioned “Photograph.”
