Ratings: E!’s “I Am Cait” Crashes in Week Two; “Stewarts & Hamiltons” Also Falls

Last week’s “I Am Cait” premiere drew 2.732 million viewers to its initial broadcast.

Fewer than half of them returned for episode two.

Sunday’s “I Am Cait” drew a mere 0.57 adults 18-49 rating with 1.292 million viewers. The numbers, which fall well below those typically drawn by “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” markedly trail those of last week’s series opener.

That episode posted a considerably stronger (but still unspectacular) 1.15 adults 18-49 rating with the aforementioned 2.732 million viewers.

While Caitlyn Jenner drove huge ratings for her ABC interview — and certainly did not hurt the ESPYs — it is clear the mammoth drawing power was not here for the long haul.

— E! followed “Cait” with “Stewarts & Hamiltons.” It drew an abysmal 0.14 adults 18-49 rating with 416,000 viewers. Last week’s episode posted a 0.37 with 938,000.
