Blake Shelton’s “Gonna” Erupts as Country Radio’s Most-Added; Luke Bryan, Waterloo Follow

It may be a fourth single, but Blake Shelton’s “Gonna” is thus far having no trouble commanding interest from country radio programmers.

The song, which received pickups from a whopping 74 monitored Mediabase stations, easily ranks as the country format’s most-added song.

“Gonna” is the fourth single from Shelton’s “Bringing Back the Sunshine.” Previous radio releases “Neon Light,” “Lonely Tonight” and “Sangria” all reached #1 on the Mediabase and Billboard airplay charts.

Each added by 26 stations, Luke Bryan’s new “Strip it Down” and Waterloo Revival’s new “Bad For You” tie for second-most added.

Kelsea Ballerini’s surging “Dibs” earns fourth-most-added on the strength of its 18 pickups, while Kacey Musgraves’ “Dime Store Cowgirl” and Lee Brice’s “That Don’t Sound Like You” rank as fifth-most-added courtesy weekly adds from 15 stations.

Other notable country radio options: Randy Houser’s “We Were” (13 adds, 7th-most-added), Cam’s “Burning House” (12 adds, 8th, tie), Jerrod Niemann’s “Blue Bandana” (12 adds, 8th, tie) and Ronnie Dunn’s “Ain’t No Trucks in Texas” (12 adds, 8th, tie).
