Walk the Moon’s “Different Colors” Goes Top 20 at Alt Radio; Death Cab, Atlas Genius Top 25

Walk The Moon [RCA]

The follow-up to Walk The Moon’s chart-topping “Shut Up and Dance” is officially a Top 20 hit at alternative radio.

Spun ~899 times during the July 26-August 1 tracking week, the band’s “Different Colors” enjoys a five-place gain to #17 on this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart.

The song is the week’s only new addition to the Top 20. Houndmouth’s “Sedona” does, however, re-enter that portion of the chart. The song rises five places to a new peak of #16.

Prior to this week, it held a peak of #19.

— While not yet in the Top 20, Death Cab for Cutie’s “The Ghosts of Beverly Drive” and Atlas Genius’ “Molecules” are now members of the Top 25.

The former rises four places to #24 on the strength of ~691 tracking week plays (+147). The latter climbs one place to #25 courtesy its ~687 weekly spins (+88).
