Robin Thicke, who appears as a featured artist on Flo Rida’s Top 25 pop radio entry “I Don’t Like It, I Love It,” will soon begin his next mainstream campaign as a lead artist.

According to Interscope, Thicke’s “Back Together,” which features Nicki Minaj, will formally arrive on August 5.

It officially impacts the pop radio format on August 11.

While Thicke currently has a Top 10 urban adult contemporary hit in “Morning Sun” (and appears on the aforementioned “I Don’t Like It”), he has not charted with his own pop single since “Feel Good” reached #35 in late-2013.

Early buzz suggests “Back Together” has a strong chance of doing so.
