Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” Drives 110K Weekly Sales, Keeps Streak Alive

Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” which sold 110,000 US copies during the July 17-23 tracking week, grabs the #5 position on the Billboard Digital Songs chart.

In securing that Top 5 position, “Fight Song” extends a streak that dates back to mid-June.

“Fight Song” has now appeared within the Top 5 of seven consecutive Billboard Digital Songs charts. Each of those Top 5 positions came courtesy a tracking period sales total in excess of 100,000 paid downloads.

The streak began with a #4 position — and 132,000 sales — during the June 8-14 tracking week. It appeared at #3 for June 15-21, #4 for June 22-28, #4 for June 29-July 5, #3 for June 29-July 9, #3 for July 10-16 and now #5 for July 17-23.

“Fight Song” was officially certified platinum (1 million+ units, where a unit = one paid download or 100 streams) on July 7.
