Ratings: “Jessie” Viewership Slips for The Vamps Episode

Vamps on Jessie (Disney)

A guest appearance from boy band The Vamps failed to ignite significant ratings interest in Disney Channel’s “Jessie.”

Friday’s broadcast actually trailed the previous episode in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

This week’s “Jessie,” which aired from 8-8:30PM, drew a 0.37 adults 18-49 rating with 1.972 million viewers. Both numbers trail those of the preceding episode, which posted a 0.40 adults 18-49 rating with 2.387 million viewers on Sunday, June 7.

The previous Friday broadcast, which aired on June 5, posted a 0.40 with 2.138 million viewers.

This week’s episode also delivered comparatively weaker numbers in adults 18-34 and females 12-34.

Insofar as the June 5, (6), and 7 episodes were part of the three-part “Rossed at Sea” series, the comparison may not be apples-to-apples.

Some, therefore, may be inclined to compare this week’s edition to “Bye Bye Bertie,” which was the last standalone “Jessie” broadcast.

Such a comparison is more favorable to Friday’s “Dance, Dance Resolution.”

Airing on Friday, May 15, the “Bye Bye Bertie” episode posted a 0.3 rating with 1.802 million viewers.
