Natalie La Rose, DJ Khaled Reach Rhythmic’s Top 25; Big Sean, Jason Derulo Go Top 30

Thanks to the format’s fourth-greatest weekly airplay gain — and greatest for a song presently positioned beneath the Top 10 — Natalie La Rose’s “Around the World (featuring Fetty Wap)” soars into the Top 25 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

Spun 1,768 times during the July 5-11 tracking week, “Around the World” rises five places to #23 on this week’s chart.

The song’s weekly spin count bests last week’s mark by a healthy 496 plays. Only The Weeknd’s #3 “Can’t Feel My Face” (+1,096), Silento’s #9 “Watch Me” (+506) and OMI’s #7 “Cheerleader” (+501) enjoyed greater weekly gains.

“Around the World” is the follow-up to La Rose’s breakthrough “Somebody (featuring Jeremih).” Supported by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program, “Somebody” reached #1 on the airplay chart.

— DJ Khaled’s “How Many Times (featuring Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Big Sean)” also reaches the Top 25 this week. Up two places, “How Many Times” reaches #25 on the strength of its 1,357 weekly plays (+45).

— The Top 30 also welcomes two additions this week.

Thanks to its 1,185 weekly spins (+224), Big Sean’s “One Man Can Change the World (featuring Kanye West and John Legend)” rises four places to a new peak of #27.

Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne” reaches #30 courtesy its 906 weekly spins (+311). It was #34 on last week’s chart.
