Ratings: 2015 BET Awards Show Trails 2014 Broadcast By 16%

The BET Awards ceremony once again suffered year-over-year declines in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Airing from 8-11:50PM, the broadcast posted a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating with 6.268 million viewers. While it easily ranked as television’s top-rated (and cable television’s most-watched) Sunday night broadcast, its numbers both trail those of last year’s ceremony.

The 2014 BET Awards show drew a 3.1 rating with 7.500 million viewers.

That show, meanwhile, trailed the 2013 edition, which drew a 3.4 with 7.771 million.
