Disturbed’s “The Vengeful One” Repeats as Rock’s Most Added; Shinedown Follows

Disturbed [Travis Shinn | Warner Bros Records]

While Shinedown’s new “Cut the Cord” received a warm welcome from active rock radio programmers, a greater number of stations issued weekly support to Disturbed’s “The Vengeful One.”

The first Disturbed single since 2011, therefore, repeats as the active rock format’s most added song.

According to Mediabase, “The Vengeful One” received adds from 36 monitored active rock stations this week. The aforementioned “Cut the Cord,” which ranks second on the add board, won pickups from 30 stations.

No other song received nearly as much new love this week.

Third on the add board is I Prevail’s “Blank Space.” The hard rock cover of Taylor Swift’s smash earned adds from 8 active rock stations.

P.O.D.’s “This Goes Out to You” (7 adds) and Red Sun Rising’s “The Otherside” (6 adds) follow as fourth- and fifth-most added, respectively.
