Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” Reach Pop’s Top 25

Last week, Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” and Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” both vaulted into the Top 30 of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

This week, they each earn a place within the Top 25.

Presently the higher-charting of the two, “Fight Song” is #23 on this week’s edition of the chart. Up four places from last week’s spot, Platten’s buzzworthy tune received ~2,901 spins (+803) during the June 14-20 tracking week.

Positioned one place behind “Fight Song” on this week’s chart, “Uma Thurman” actually enjoyed a bigger weekly airplay gain. Up five places, the song reaches #24 on the strength of its ~2,874 weekly spins (+878).

— In addition to charting on pop, both songs also claim solid positions on the Hot AC airplay chart. “Fight Song” is #7 on this week’s Hot AC listing, while “Uma Thurman” is #19.

“Fight Song” also holds the #19 position on the adult contemporary airplay chart. “Uma Thurman” is #28 at alternative radio.
