Ratings: The CW’s “iZombie” Hits Series Low for Season Finale

Positioned against ABC’s mammoth NBA Finals Game 3 coverage, Tuesday’s “iZombie” finale slipped to series low marks in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Per final data, Tuesday’s episode of the freshman CW series drew a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.45 million viewers. Both marks were down from those of last week’s episode, which delivered a 0.6 with 1.80 million.

Prior to this week’s broadcast, no “iZombie” had delivered less than a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating or a 1.50 million total viewership mark.

While certainly not strong, this week’s performance will not prove damning. “iZombie” has already been renewed for a second season, and it is slated to retain its Tuesday at 9PM ET timeslot.

That the lows came against the NBA Finals — and at the onset of summer — also makes them easier to swallow.
