Ratings: ABC’s “The Whispers” Sinks By 33% in Week Two

Episode two of “The Whispers” suffered considerable losses in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Monday’s edition of the ABC drama posted a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating with 4.36 million total viewers. Both numbers were down sharply from those of the series premiere, which posted a 1.5 with 5.66 million.

Among adults 18-49, this week’s episode was its timeslot’s #2 network program. NBC’s “The Island” won the slot with a 1.2, while CBS’ “NCIS: LA” re-run posted a 0.9.

While lead-in “The Bachelorette” also slipped this week, its decline was not enough to explain away the entire “The Whispers” decline.

This week’s “The Bachelorette” posted a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating with 6.38 million viewers at 8PM and a 1.7 with 6.19 million viewers in the directly supportive 9PM hour.
