Jason Aldean’s “Tonight Looks Good on You” Goes Top 10 at Country Radio

Whether one looks at the Billboard Country Airplay or Mediabase country radio singles chart, he will now find Jason Aldean’s “Tonight Looks Good on You” in the top ten.

The third single from Aldean’s “Old Boots, New Dirt” rises to #10 on both charts.

Up one place from last week’s position, its new Billboard Country Airplay mark is attributable to the song’s 31.688 million audience impressions. Its week-over-week audience gain of 5.595 million was the greatest for a country song.

It, meanwhile, rises two places to #10 on the Mediabase chart. Spun 5,283 times during the May 31-June 6 tracking week (+677), “Tonight” amassed 18,542 weekly Mediabase chart points (+2,603). It ranks as the week’s #3 airplay gainer and #2 points gainer.

Previous “Old Boots” singles “Burnin’ it Down” and “Just Gettin’ Started” hit #1 on both charts.
