Maroon 5, Big Sean, Walk the Moon, Samantha J Reach Rhythmic’s Top 60

Four songs power into the Top 60 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

The highest-charting of the four is Maroon 5’s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt.” Already a Top 20 hit at pop and Hot AC, “Summer” claims the #51 position on this week’s rhythmic chart (+12). It received 293 spins (+135) during the May 31-June 6 tracking week.

Also new to the mix is Big Sean’s “One Man Can Change the World.” The Top 50 urban hit, which had sold 67.1K copies through May 31, claims the #53 position on this week’s rhythmic listing. Up thirty places, it received 236 spins (+144) during the tracking period.

Currently #1 at Hot AC and #3 at pop and formerly #1 at alternative, Walk the Moon’s multi-format smash “Shut Up and Dance” is now a Top 60 rhythmic entry. It rises twelve places to #54 on the strength of its 221 (+79) tracking week spins.

Samantha J’s “League of My Own” also joins the Top 60 at rhythmic. Spun 178 times during the tracking week (+75), it jumps twenty two places to a new high of #58.
