Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” Reach Top 10 at Hot AC Radio

Rachel Platten’s breakthrough “Fight Song,” which was the most recent recipient of the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” boost, spent several weeks on the verge of entering the Hot AC airplay chart’s top ten.

It officially makes the leap this week.

Up two places, “Fight Song” reaches a new peak of #9 on Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary airplay chart. The song, which is also a Top 20 hit at adult contemporary and a Top 40 hit at pop, received ~4,143 Hot AC spins during the May 31-June 6 tracking week.

Also new to the weekly top ten is Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth).” The song, which holds the #1 positions at pop and rhythmic, rises three places to a new peak of #10 on the Hot AC listing. It received ~4,063 weekly spins.

The song’s week-over-week spin gain of 723 is the greatest for any Hot AC song.
