Miranda Lambert’s “Roots and Wings” Debuted with 27K First Week Sales

Eagerly demanded by fans, Miranda Lambert’s “Roots and Wings” officially debuted on iTunes last week. Thanks to a solid sales figure, it landed respectably on the Country Digital Songs and Hot Country Songs charts.

According to Nielsen Music, “Roots and Wings” shifted approximately 27,000 copies during the May 25-31 tracking week. That earned it the #7 position on Country Digital Songs and #32 spot on the all-encompassing Hot Country Songs chart.

Featured in a Ram campaign, “Roots and Wings” has earned raves — even from voices not fond of Lambert’s official radio singles.
