Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” Goes Top 10 at Pop; Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” Gets Close

After just two weeks of formal promotion, Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood (featuring Kendrick Lamar)” is already a top ten track at pop radio.

Up four places, the fourth “1989” single earns the #10 spot on this week’s official Mediabase pop airplay chart. It received ~8,629 spins during the May 24-30 tracking week.

“Bad Blood,” which is also charting at hot adult contemporary, rhythmic and adult contemporary, is the fourth straight “1989” single to reach the pop format’s top ten. After reaching the top ten, previous singles “Shake it Off,” “Blank Space” and “Style” all ended up surging to #1 on the chart.

— On the verge of reaching pop’s top ten is Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink).” After soaring to #12 last week, the third “Reflection” single rises one place to #11 on this week’s chart. It received ~8,037 weekly spins.

While it was ultimately leapfrogged by “Bad Blood” prior to the release of Mediabase’s official chart, it actually appeared inside the rolling top ten at one point during the tracking week.

With Nick Jonas’ #9 “Chains” in a state of free fall, “Worth It” could score an official top ten position on next week’s chart.

By far the most successful release of Fifth Harmony’s career, “Worth It” is also listed on the rhythmic airplay chart.
