Kelsea Ballerini, Blake Shelton Officially Enter Country Radio’s Top 10

Kelsea Ballerini | Disney

Kelsea Ballerini’s debut album launches this week.

Called “The First Time,” it fittingly arrives as the singer-songwriter appears in the country radio top ten for the first time.

Her breakthrough single “Love Me Like You Mean It” rises two places to #9 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase country airplay chart.

#9 in total chart points, “Love Me Like You Mean It” also earns that ranking from an airplay and audience perspective. Its weekly spin count of ~5,065 and weekly audience impression count of ~35.927 million both rank as the country format’s ninth-greatest.

“Love Me” is not the week’s only addition to the Top 10. Blake Shelton’s “Sangria,” which last week blasted into the top 15, this week cruises two places to a new peak of #10. It received ~4,752 spins and ~35.263 million audience impressions during the May 10-16 tracking week.

“Sangria” represents Shelton’s chance at a fifteenth straight country radio #1.  It would be his 20th such hit overall.
