Hot 100: OMI’s “Cheerleader” Hits the Top 50; A Thousand Horses, Echosmith Also Enter

OMI’s “Cheerleader,” which is expected to embark on an impressive chart run this summer, is already up to #47 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

The song, which is being aided by a Felix Jaehn radio remix, is one of three new additions to the Top 50.

Up sixteen places on the overall Hot 100 this week, “Cheerleader” also hits a new peak of #33 on the Streaming Songs subchart.

Also new to the Hot 100’s Top 50 is A Thousand Horses’ “Smoke.” Up six places, the breakthrough country hit claims a new peak position of #49 this week. It also rises to #24 on the Radio Songs subchart and enters Digital Songs at #48.

Echosmith’s “Bright” grabs the last available Top 50 slot. The follow-up to the sibling band’s breakthrough “Cool Kids” enjoys a seven place lift to #50 this week.

It also soars to peaks of #32 on Digital Songs and #38 on Radio Songs.
