Hot 100: Florida Georgia Line Scores 7th Top 40 with “Sippin’ on Fire”

While it hit #1 at country radio, Florida Georgia Line’s single “Sun Daze” was its first official offering to miss the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. It peaked at #44.

Follow-up “Sippin’ on Fire,” which is still rising at radio, avoids that fate. After hitting #45 on last week’s chart, it rises five places to a new peak of #40 on this week’s listing.

In making that leap, “Fire” becomes the duo’s seventh top 40 hit. It follows the #11-peaking “Dirt” as the second from the act’s “Anything Goes” album.

In conjunction with its Top 40 position on the overall Hot 100, “Sippin'” reaches a new peak of #29 on the Radio Songs subchart. It slips slightly to #41 on Digital Songs.
