Ratings: ABC “Revenge” Rises Only Slightly for Series Finale; “OUAT” Holds Steady

Television viewers did not view the series finale of ABC’s “Revenge” as anything approximating a special event. The episode only narrowly bested last week’s installment in adults 18-49.

Per fast national data, Sunday’s hourlong send-off drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 4.80 million total viewers.

Final data confirmed that last week’s penultimate edition drew a slightly weaker 1.2 adults 18-49 rating but a slightly stronger 4.82 million viewership mark.

Earlier in the night, ABC aired “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (1.4, 5.91 million viewers) and a two-hour “Once Upon a Time” season finale episode (1.7, 5.42 million).

The 9PM portion of “Once” drew a 1.7 with 5.33 million viewers. Last week’s “Secrets and Lies” finale, which aired in that timeslot, drew a comparable 1.8 adults 18-49 rating but a considerably stronger 6.53 million viewership average.

The first half of the “OUAT” finale, which aired in the show’s usual 8PM timeslot, posted a 1.7 with 5.51 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 1.7 with 5.31 million viewers in that 8-9PM slot.
