Walk the Moon, Nate Ruess to Perform on “The Voice;” Snoop Reteaming with Pharrell

The #5 song in America is about to receive its most valuable exposure yet.

NBC confirms that WALK THE MOON will perform its breakthrough smash “Shut Up and Dance” on the May 12 edition of “The Voice.” Certified platinum, “Shut Up and Dance” is nearing the #1 spot at Hot Adult Contemporary radio and nearing the Top 5 at pop radio. It appears at #5 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

That night’s episode will also feature a duet involving Snoop Dogg and “The Voice” coach Pharrell. The two, whose previous collaborations include the smash “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” will perform “California Roll.”

Nate Ruess performs his “Nothing Without Love” on the preceding night’s edition of “The Voice.” The song, which is iHeartRadio’s current “On the Verge” song at pop radio, is cut from his debut solo album “Grand Romantic.”

Ruess will then perform on the 5/12 edition of “The Tonight Show.”
