CBS’ “Battle Creek” Has Officially Been Cancelled

None of CBS’ Sunday night dramas is a strong ratings performer.

Since premiering earlier this year, “Battle Creek” has been the weakest. It, predictably, will not be returning.

Initially viewed as a high-profile project due to the involvement of creators David Shore and Vince Gilligan, “Battle Creek” had lost virtually all of its buzz by the time it reached the air.

When it premiered with poor adults 18-49 and total viewership marks, it was effectively rendered dead on arrival.
