ABC Renews “Nashville” for Season 4, “Secrets and Lies” for Season 2

While its ratings have not improved this season, ABC’s “Nashville” has been long considered a lock for renewal.

That official renewal, which confirms a fourth season of the country music-themed soap, came Thursday.

And it came alongside renewals for numerous other series. In addition to ordering more “Galavant” and “American Crime”, ABC also confirmed that it will stay in business with scripted series “The Goldbergs,” “Modern Family,” “The Middle,” “Secrets and Lies,” “Castle,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” “Agent Carter,” “Fresh Off The Boat,” “Agents of SHIELD” and “black-ish.”

Unscripted offerings “Shark Tank,” “Beyond the Tank,” “The Bachelor,” “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and “Dancing with the Stars” have also been renewed.
