ABC Officially Cancels “Resurrection,” “Cristela,” “Forever,” “The Taste”

Bubble series like “Galavant,” “Agent Carter” and “American Crime” overcame ratings concerns and scored renewals from ABC.

Not all of the network’s series were so lucky.

Sophomore drama “Resurrection,” freshman drama “Forever” and freshman comedy “Cristela,” which faced ratings woes of their own this year, all felt the swing of the ABC ax. The three series learned of their official cancellations Thursday.

ABC also opted to pass on an additional season of unscripted series “The Taste.”
